Where have I been!

Well life got a little crazy here for a while and well my poor blog has been neglected! In August I took Kai to Maine to meet his great Grandma. It was a wonderful trip and it felt great to be back in a place with so many memories and somewhere that still feels like home. I ate my body weight in Italian sandwiches (never know when I will get back, and had to get my fill) and of course had a night of yummy lobster! I wish I could transport my favorite things about Maine here to Washington, then I could truly live in the happiest place on earth! Here are some highlights from our trip.

This is a picture of a painting in my Grandma's living room. I never really new my dad and never saw any pictures of him as a boy but I can really see him in Eli's face! What do you think?
