Family photos

In October I made a barter with a friend. I made some goodies for her daughters birthday and she would take some pictures of our family. She is a budding professional photgrapher and I am so thankful for her time and the wonderful photos she captured for us. While I wish that I didn have that god awefull double chin, it is what it is, and I am working on it! LOL

you can see more of her work here J Shelton Photography

T4TuTu

So back in September I decide to try my hand at a earning a space in a local craft fair to be held in December. I have always been crafty and wanted to have something to do. Looking back now I wish I hadnt because as soon as I got the spot up started new jobs and I have busier than one woman should ever be.

But then I got caught up in making a small business for myself and dived in head first while managing to keep all my other tasks in hand. Up popped my Tutu and hairbow business. I call it T4TuTu.

The craft fair went great and I sold a few things. Even better is I got a handful of custom orders and I am hopeing this is the start of a great little creative outlet for me, not to mention a little extra $$.

Here are some picture from the craft show. and please check out my shop (linked above)

Skipping November!

Okay so it seems that I have skipped a month, cant get that time back. It's been a little crazy in the the Chandler house and the little things (this blog) have slipped through the cracks. So a little recap is in order I think.

Well on Novemeber 2nd I started a new job. I am working part time at Roy Robinson Chevrolet, Subaru and Motorhomes here in Marysville. I work Mondays-Fridays 3pm-9pm. Its a decent schedule and I like the job. Great commute too, only 2 miles! I miss my family at night and sitting down to dinner but hey gotta do what you gotta do right?

Brian thankfully re-entered the work force 2 days before Thanksgiving. we had a lot to be thankful for this year. After many months of unemployement I know he and we needed this! He is back working for ThyssenKrupp Elevator (where he first started in the trade) and is currently in thier maintance/retrofit department. I know that its hard work for him but we appreciate all he has to go through.

So we spent alot of the month just adjusting to our n schedules and lives and trying to make it as easy a transition as we could for the boys. who by the way are doing great!

So as you can see November didnt hold a lot of excitment for us but it did mean for lots of big changes. December now that has been a whole nother story. busy, busy, busy and so much fun!

pumpkin tie dye

Made this craft with the boys this week to get us all in the Halloween spirit. i was lots of fun and I think we will do it again in the years to come when Eli and Kai can paint the faces themselves. Eli did have a blast helping with the dyeing the shirts!

for fun I used glow in the dark paint on the faces!

Pumpkin patch 2009

Pumpkin patch TAKE 2!

We had to make a couple trips this year since I was working at the patch. Brian would bring the boys up a couple times a week to visit and to play. while it was a windy, wet, cold job it was still lots of fun.

Kai's big day!

Happy Birthday to my little boy. I cant believe that a year has already come and gone, yet I see it in your face everyday as you grow up right before my eyes. You are so handsome, and so special to your daddy and I and you make us laugh everyday. Happy Birthday sweet baby boy!

Thank you to all our family and Friends who were able to celebrate with us. We are such a rich family to have people like you to share these moments with us.

getting ready for the party!

Kai needed a nap before the party began
