Jayda is NINE! when the heck did that happen? So grown up already. She had her birthday party at the skating rink so it was going to be a first for the boys. never have they stepped foot on ice let alone on two little blades! I was surprised at how ell they did and how much they enjoyed themselves. A definite great family day.
Birthday girl with her special Michael Jackson cake!
Proof that nine year old girls still love barbie!
Brian taking a break
Grandpa even skated!
Oh boy! here we go
The whole Birthday party crew!
I hope your day was filled with fun and that everything was perfect for you. I had a great time baking and decorating your cake. thank you for letting me make your day special.
So I don't watch the show but I know its about signing and school. Our little niece Jayda joined the choir at her school and on Saturday they had their first concert. It was a pancake breakfast with Santa and then the kids sang. such beautiful voices from such little people! Great job Jayda!
Thank goodness this isn't the Santa we see every year, this guy is kinda creepy!
Jayda didn't have school today (Veterans Day) so she spent the night and stayed with us all day to play. We played at the park, watched a movie and had some popcorn, ate a yummy lunch, everyone took a nap, and we played and played some more. The boys sure do love their cousin and cant wait to see her again soon.
Jayda's team got their very first goal EVER today! It was awesome. the girls and their parents have waited a long time (4 games) for this moment. The winning goal was shot by Taylor (number 7) and I hope her parents took her out for a big celebration tonight. I know her lucky number 7 made the team moral grow by 10 feet today. Even if the girls didn't win the game, that goal sure made it feel like they did!
WAY TO GO FIRE DRAGONS!
Going in for the scoring shot!
Of course it wouldn't be a My Two Sons blog post without pictures of well....
Little miss Jayda turned 7 last Thursday. I cant believe how quick she is growing up. On her actual birthday our family, Moby and Jan, and Darrin's mom all met at the Japanese Steakhouse for dinner and a small celebration.
What dinner looks like from Eli's level
Jayda trying to catch shirmp in her mouth, I think the cook just had bad aim! How can you miss it when she has no front teeth to block?
Moby teaching Eli how to eat with chopsticks. He actually got pretty good with them!
Darrin a little to excited about the purple airplane!
Jayda's new tutu from Brian and I
For her party with friends she had a skating party. Wowo does that bring back memories of my own childhood spent at the skating rink in Minnesota. Wierd to think that life is starting to come a full circle and things I did as a child soon my children will be doing too! Here party hada Monarch Butterfly theme and I made all the goodies for the party. Eli would not skate at all, wouldnt even let me put skates on him but he had fun in the bouncy stuff they had set up at the end of the rink.
And just for fun since boys will be boys, a video of Darrin racing his friend in speed skating race. And of course Jada being sung Happy Birthday! I love you JuneBug!
I am a stay at home mom of two little boys. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, scrapbooking and baking. I look forward to my boys getting older so that we can get out and do more things.
