Someone got outside after his bath and before getting dressed. Ah, who cares what the neighbors think Eli drives his tractor O'natural!

The can stands alone

I have given up soda! This was the last can that we had in the house and now it is gone. I will indulge in soda when we go out to dinner (rarely) but in this house Soda is gone! Brian doest even drink it anymore. Can my will power hold out? This was such an addiction for me. Even though it was caffeine free and sugar free (might as well be drinking water huh?)it was still something I craved. Oh well her we go.

Melissa the College Grad

My best friend Melissa graduated from college on Sunday. She is the mom to Eli best Friend Vinny and through our boys being together in daycare we made a friendship that will last forever. Back in the winter she decided to finish college after taking many years away. she need to take 4 course credits and she would be done. So with her plate already being full by being a full time bank manager, a mom, a wife, and a friend she dived in and somehow made extra hours in a day to do it all. She has even started a fire in me to think that's its time I go back to school.

Congrats Melissa on this very big accomplishment!


While she was at the ceremony getting her diploma we had Vinny over as a guest in our house. The boys play so well together that it almost seemed easier with 3 children than it is with 2! My house however looked like a toy store blew up after the two toddler tornado's went through!




After the ceremony we all met to celebrate her degree by going out to dinner where I surprised her with cake! Everyone needs cake!

We went to the local petting zoo today and Eli found some new friends.




A new baby calf


Afterwards we had a picnic lunch and played at the playground. There is also a splash park there and this time Eli went in! I didn't get any pictures of that cause well I was to busy chasing him around to even think about the camera! Next time!

My first harvest

Well the garden is all planted and really starting to grow. I planted spinach and they were the first to sprout and the first ready to eat. so I made us all a nice spinach salad for dinner. Nothing has ever tasted as good as something you grew with your own two hands!
