Brew fest - part duex
Okay so when we last lef toff we had successfully brewed our beer and placed in it the fermenter to ferment for a week.
Fermenting Done
Here is what the beer looked like after fermenting. We need to siphon the clear beer from the settlement so we first move it to a new container called a carboy.
Now its time to bottle. first we add sugars to add carbination and then into the bottles it goes to sit for 2 more weeks before it can be enjoyed.
capping
One case ready to go. we ended up with just over 3 cases worth.
Happy guy

Make them work!
Kids are, lets face it, LAZY! I mean really all they do all day is play, and eat and play some more. to top it all off they dont pay rent! we decided it was time Eli earn his keep. He was actually pretty good at it. need some pressure washing done?
Hey, after all isnt them doing the yard work the real reason we had kids?

The hunt is on
Dont blink!
It took me over 15 minutes to set everything up and it only took two boys 5 minutes to dye two dozen eggs! It was like a dunk-a-thon in the Chandler house. Forget cleanliness, forget those silly little egg dippers when it comes to egg dying hands are the best tools. Who cares if your the color of the Incredible Hulk when your done.
Dont forget a great ccook always tastes his work.

Happy Easter 2011
This year we went over to our friends house for the Snohomish Easter Parade. Kyle and Heathers house is right on the parade route so we all get to kick back in the yard and watch as all the floats go by. Moms and Dads sipped on mimosas while kids ran circles around the yard. The sun was shining and the day was perfect!
After the parade Heather had prepared a egg hunt in her back yard. It was so much fun to see the kids all scrambling to grab eggs. And oh boy they were filled candy and stickers!
