The Great Urban Race

back on July 31st Sandra and I competed in a race around Seattle. Its called the Great Urban Race and its a nationwide scavanger hunt hosted in major cities. You get 12 clues to figure out then using only public transportation and your own two feet you race to navigate the city and compete in challenges that in turn get you back to the finish line. They give you 5 hours to finish the race course.

Sandra and I came in 78th place (at 3:10:03) out of 267 finishing teams with another 55 teams not finishing in the alloted time.

Part of the fun was you had to have a team name and dress in alike or to match a theme. Since Sandra and I both love boating we were team Nautical~n~Nice. I cant wait for next year as this was the most fun I have had in a long time! Sandra you are a great friend and partner and next year we will kick even more ass!

Oh and while in Seattle it was also Seafair Parade night and my local favorite celebrity was on hand and I got a picture with him

John Curley!

Budda

and what a belly it is!

Ps. I am talking about the cat!

An update to Budda cat. Unfortunatly Jet passed away on August 12th. He was a awesome cat and he will be very missed. Only once in a lifetime do you get to have such an animated funny cat who also weighs a ton.

RIP Budda.

At the cabin with the other Chandlers!

Brians brother, Curtis, and his wife have made it a yearly trip to a cabin on Lake Roseinger. They always get a nice cabin that is right on the water. Brian and I had to bring up the ski boat to them and we spent some time and had dinner while there. All the boys had so much fun together playing and going for a boat ride with thier daddies. Its so fun to have 4 cousins so close in age and all boys. I get excited thinking what the future will be like for all of them being so close.
